What is planned giving?
Most donations to the Center come in the form of checks, money we receive immediately. You may not be aware of many other
options available.
"Planned" gifts are a form of deferred giving. You hold on to your money or assets for the
present, while making sure that you make a gift in the future. Your planned gift will ensure the financial future of the
Center long after your lifetime, guaranteeing the Center can continue its mission.
Planned gifts can be either revocable, such as a bequest in a will, or irrevocable. Irrevocable gifts give you an immediate benefit
from a tax deduction, but allow you to hold on to the asset until some point in the future, continuing to receive its benefits.
