Volunteer at HGHREC
Volunteers are a most valuable resource at the Holocaust, Genocide & Human Rights Education Center. Each week, more than 30 volunteers help to run the operations of HGHREC, developing materials for programs and meeting the unending requests for services of the HGHREC. This energetic group enjoys welcoming new volunteers! If you can give one morning or afternoon a week of your time, please consider becoming a volunteer.
Volunteers:
- Welcome Visitors
- Maintain our Library, Video, and Poster Collections
- Order New Books and Films
- Work with Students and Teachers
- Mailings
- Answer Phones
- Data Entry
- Facilitate Workshops
- Preparing Packets for our Many Visitors
- Organize Programs
- Serve as Docents for Exhibit and/or Center
- Catalog Newspaper and Magazine Articles
- Write Press Releases
- Translate Materials from Other Languages
- Work on Displays
- Technical Needs
- Copying
The list is endless.
